Only the group members of a particular group can access the information displayed in that particular group. In other words the information you share within a group is only accessible to the members of that particular group.
At Pagecoop we put great emphasis on respect for your privacy. For example we do not share, sell, rent or trade personally identifiable information (“identifying data”) with third parties for their promotional purposes.
4.2 Control: By creating different groups you can send the right information to the right people. In each group you control what personal information you want to show or not. You also can very easily delete any information you entered within a group. You have total control over your information. Also, if you decide to cancel your Pagecoop account we will delete all your personal information from our data base.
4.3 Cooperation and trust: The term “Pagecoop” comes from “Page Co-operation”. Pagecoop promotes group interaction and communication. We believe co-operation promotes trust and better communication in your online networks.
5. Minors Protection and Information & Prevention Program:
At Pagecoop we take minor protection very seriously. Users under the age of 13 are prohibited from using Pagecoop. We also have a specific program to raise awareness of minors (age 13 or older) and parents about the threats they may encounter on the internet. We hope that this information on our website will contribute to help users to better protect their privacy and avoid inappropriate or harmful behaviors. See our “Information & Prevention Program”. If we learn that we have collected information from a user under age 13, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. 6. Types of Information Collected
Pagecoop collects both identifying information and non-identifying information when you register with us and use our services. You will find in this section what kind of information Pagecoop collects.
6.1 Personal Identifying Information collected:
General definition of "Personal identifying information" : "Personal identifying information” refers to information that can be used to uniquely identify, contact, or locate a single person or can be used with other sources to uniquely identify a single individual. It is for example the person's full name, address, telephone number, or credit card number.
6.1.1 The Personal Identifying Information collected when you register with Pagecoop and when you use the Site :
When you register for Pagecoop, we collect user-submitted account information such as username and email address.
When you create or accept to access a new group in Pagecoop we ask you to enter the following information: your email address, name and a nickname for this particular Group-Page.
In your account profile and for each single group independently you can choose to enter more personal identifying information such as: address, telephone, a small biography. Entering this additional personal identifying information is optional and you can choose to not do it.
You and the other Group members of a Group can also write and share information in the private space of the Group Page (in the form of posts, comments, folios, events, pictures, links, etc…) which can also be considered to be “Personal Identifying Information”.
We also collect the email addresses you enter to invite other people to join your group(s). We may use the services of SendGrid (www.sendgrid.com) to facilitate the invitation message transmission and reception to the invited guest email box.
6.1.2 Billing information
Pagecoop may collect billing information if you sign up for a paid service, which may include your name, address, telephone number, credit card details, and other information that is necessary in order to process the transaction. Under no circumstance do we store any of your sensitive billing details.
If you decide to upgrade the services to our paying version, we require you to provide your billing information in order to process the transaction.
We may retain the last 4 digits of your credit card number and credit card type, so that you may identify that card used in the future. We do not store any other billing information, as this information is discarded after your transaction has been processed.
The billing and transaction process is handled by Authorize.net for the Gateway, Chargify.com for the interface between the Gateway and the Merchant Account and Bank of America for the merchant account.
All transactions are processed over the industry standards.
6.2 Non-Personal Identifying Information collected:
General definition of "Non-Personal identifying information" : "Non-Personal identifying information” refers to information that is anonymous and cannot be used to uniquely identify, contact, or locate a single person.
6.2.1 IP Address
Pagecoop may occasionally obtain IP addresses from users.
A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier that is sent to your browser from a web site's computers and stored on your computer's hard drive.
If you reject all cookies, you may not be able to use Pagecoop services that require you to "sign in" and you may not be able to take full advantage of all offerings.
You can configure your browser to accept all cookies, reject all cookies or notify you when a cookie is set.
The cookie used on the site is directly from Pagecoop.com. There are no third-party cookies.
6.2.3 Non Personal Identifying Information collected when you register with Pagecoop and when you use the Site
When you register with Pagecoop and when you use the Site we ask you to enter some “Non-Personal Identifying Information”. For example you create a new Group-Page we ask for the Group-Page name and the Group-Page category (Event, Professional, Family, Friends, Education/Association, Other).
In your account profile and for each single group independently you can choose to enter more “Non-personal identifying information” such as: birthday, location, interests, relationship status, sex, etc. Entering this additional Non-Personal Identifying Information is optional and you can choose to not do it.
You and the other Group members of a Group can also write and share Non-Personal Identifying Information in the private space of the Group Page (in the form of posts, comments, folios, events, pictures, links, etc…).
7. Uses and Sharing of Data Collected
7.1 Use of Personal Identifying Information collected :
Pagecoop uses your Personal Identifying Information to operate the Site.
Pagecoop does not sell, rent or trade Personal Identifying Information with any third parties for their promotional purposes.
Pagecoop shares your Personal Identifying Information with a third party only where it is necessary to complete a transaction, to operate or improve the Pagecoop products and services, or to do something that you have asked us to do.
7.1.1 Use of The Personal Identifying Information collected when you register with Pagecoop and when you use the Site :
We use the Personal Identifying Information you submit to create and maintain your account and Group Pages on Pagecoop.
We share the email addresses the Pagecoop users enter to invite other people in a Group Page with SendGrid.com for the only purpose of facilitating the invitation email transmission and reception.
We will automatically send your guest a one-time email inviting him or her to join your Pagecoop Group Page. Your guest may contact us at email@example.com to request that we remove this information from our database.
We use your user-submitted account information such as username and email address to identify you as a user and send you notifications related to your account activity and to the use of the service.
You can opt out from receiving emails from Pagecoop about your account activity in your account parameters (login into Pagecoop and go to “My account”).
Pagecoop may share identifying data about you under the following circumstances:
- We may share your identifying data to respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, to establish or exercise our legal rights or, defend against legal claims and if in our judgment in such circumstances disclosure is required or appropriate.
7.1.2 Use of your Billing information
If you decide to Upgrade your Group Page the billing process will be handled by the Autorize.net Gateway, Chargify.com Interface and our Bank of America Merchant Account.
Authorize.net, Chargify.com and Bank of America may store your billing information on their secure payment platforms for as long as necessary to carry out the terms of your subscription. We have confirmed with Authorize.net, Chargify.com and Bank of America that they are in compliance with relevant data privacy rules and regulations.
7.2 Use of the Non-Personal Identifying Information collected:
7.2.1 Use of IP Address
IP addresses, browser and session information may be used for various purposes, including to:
- Diagnose and prevent service or technology problems reported by our users or engineers that are associated with the IP addresses controlled by a specific web company or ISP.
- Estimate the total number of users visiting Pagecoop.com website from specific geographical regions.
- Help determine which users have access privileges to certain content, services or resources that we offer.
- Monitor and prevent fraud and abuse.
Pagecoop uses its own cookies for a number of purposes, including to:
- Require you to re-enter your password after a certain period of time has elapsed to protect you against others accidentally accessing your account contents.
- Keep track of preferences you specify while you are using the Pagecoop Sites, Products and Services.
- Estimate and report our total audience size and traffic.

You may receive advertisements, sweepstakes, contests and promotion offers directly on your Pagecoop account. The advertisement will be displayed on specific and limited location on the Site.
- Pagecoop may automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, cookies, and the pages you request. We also may collect other use information as part of our analytics services, in order to improve the service.
All your personal information and data are accessible from your Pagecoop Account and in your different groups.
9. Changing your Preferences and Personal Information

10. Pagecoop Information retention after termination
When you delete your account we may save some or all of your personal data and information you uploaded or posted on Pagecoop for a maximum of 30 days.

13. Simple steps to enhance your privacy and better protect you from fraud
At Pagecoop.com, we are putting forth every effort to ensure the privacy and security of information that you share with us online.
We urge you to take steps also to protect the privacy of your personal information, such as choosing a strong password (using upper-case and lower-case letters, using numbers and letters, using special characters) and safeguarding your password and logging off of the website after submitting personal information. If you have broadband access to the Internet, we strongly advise you to use a firewall.
You are in control of the information you display in your different groups. Select carefully the information you want to share in each group depending of the relationship you have the group and the confidence you have in the group members.

14. Systems Confidentiality and Security
No data transmissions over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Consequently, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your transmission, we make efforts to ensure security on our systems.
- We use physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect personal information about you.
- Your account information is password-protected. Additionally, your account's password is stored using a one way hash algorithm.
- In certain areas, Pagecoop may use industry-standard SSL-encryption to protect data transmissions. However, please note that this is not a guarantee that such information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed by breach of such firewalls and secure server software.
If Pagecoop learns of a security systems breach we may attempt to notify you electronically so that you can take appropriate protective steps. By using Pagecoop or providing personal information to us you agree that we can communicate with you electronically regarding security, privacy and administrative issues relating to your use of those sites, products and services. We may post a notice on our Pagecoop account and group pages if a security breach occurs.
